There’s a gamer in all of us — whether you play on your phone, a console, a computer, or a virtual reality rig. And it takes people, either individually or in large teams, to bring these great experiences to life. We offer 4 curriculums for students from Grade 8 - 12 to learn the foundations of Game Development and create their very own video game.

● Concept Art

Learn how to develop characters and concept art for game development. Students will develop character profiles, and story lines for game development. We will study figure drawing, and clothing design, as well as environment, architecture, interior and industrial design used to create stylized drawing concepts for use in the game development process.

● The Study of

Learn about the concepts and psychology behind Game Development. What makes a game fun? Why do people like certain games better than others? How do you design objectives and rules? Students will create their own card game and board game by the end of the camp.

● 3D Modeling &

Learn how to create 3D assets for games like Fortnite? Create landscape levels and environments in Unreal Engine. Use AI tools to record and animate 3D characters, and place them in a game environment.

● Advanced Game
|
Learn how to work with 3D Game content in the Unreal Engine game platform. Complete and program your own 3D game using Unreal Engine. Learn to work with 3D assets, add in your own 3D models, and program game mechanics to create a platform game.
