2024 Game Development Summer Camp
Teacher: Heather Pendrak
Heather Pendrak has been a teacher for over 24 years with experience in teaching Art, Animation, Digital, Game, Video, and Graphic Design as well as Artificial Intelligence, Python programming, Cyber Security, and Entrepreneurship. She specializes in 3D modeling, printing, scanning, and Game Design in her current position at Durham School of the Arts using 3Ds Max and Unreal Engine 5. Heather earned a BS in Art education from Marywood University in PA, and a MaED in Curriculum and Instruction: Instructional Technology from Virginia Tech. She has worked with a variety of different companies and artists using her various skills with her company Pendragon 3D. Notably would be the NC Museum of Art, Larry Heda, Brand 2O, Heco Aero, Dixie Decoys, Gallucci Studios, UNCG, NC A & T, and many others. Her focus is to build an educational program around Unreal Engine to teach students how to showcase their work on a global platform.
