Chinese Learning Pathway

From early Chinese exposure to middle school advancement, high school credit, and AP Chinese readiness.

Champion Education offers a connected Chinese learning pathway for students from Pre-K through high school. Students can begin with early language exposure, continue through elementary and middle school Chinese, and move into high school credit and AP preparation when ready.

All high school credit courses meet online twice per week and include approximately 1.5 hours per week of documented homework, project work, or preparation. Regular attendance, punctuality, and completion of assigned work are required.
Recommended Champion Student Pathway

Champion students who complete Level 6 are encouraged to continue into:

  • Grade 6: Chinese for Heritage Speakers 1
  • Grade 7: Chinese for Heritage Speakers 2
  • Grade 8: AP Preparation Chinese
Students with a strong foundation may be ready for AP Chinese preparation in Grade 8.
Why Consider Credit Early?

Schedule Overview
  • After-School Chinese: Monday–Friday, after school to 6:00 PM
  • Pre-K Chinese: Saturday, 1:00–3:00 PM
  • High school credit courses: two online classes per week
  • High school credit courses also include documented preparation outside class
