Fall 2026 Featured Project

Congressional App Challenge Project Team Build an app. Solve a real problem. Present your work.

Build a functioning app that addresses a real need—and learn how a complete technology project moves from an early idea to a clear public demonstration.

With instructor guidance, students move through a complete development cycle and prepare a working app, demonstration video, and submission materials.

Mr. Flynn is a software engineer and UI developer with experience across Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, AI/ML, and digital design. He brings both technical and visual-design perspectives to student projects and has experience mentoring youth projects.

Eligibility depends on the official rules and the participating congressional district; enrollment does not guarantee eligibility, submission acceptance, or an award. Students should review the official rules and registration information. Prior coding experience is recommended, and project scope will be matched to team readiness.
