Hybrid Class (Onsite + Online Blended Format)
This course follows a hybrid format with 3 hours of instruction each week — 1.5 hours onsite and 1.5 hours online. Students enjoy the advantages of in-person learning combined with the flexibility of online sessions.

Instructor: Mr. Michael
Mr. Michael Friedman holds degrees in English and Philosophy from Washington and Lee University and a Master’s in Modern American Literature. After teaching at several colleges, he spent 20 years at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, where he taught AP English Language and Composition and guided students in writing and college essay preparation. In 2014, he received the Susan Scott Daly Excellence in Teaching Award and also founded the Coffeehouse Club, giving students a space to share their creativity.
