Class Description:

AMC8 Math is a contest-focused course that teaches students how to approach non-routine, multi-step problems. Topics include pre-algebra, number theory, geometry, and counting strategies. Students learn problem-solving techniques, practice with past AMC 8 papers, and develop speed and accuracy under time constraints.

About the Instructor:

Dr. Yi Li, Lead Data Scientist at MassMutual, holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Northeastern University and a B.A. in Mathematics from Fudan University. A former first-place winner of the National Chinese High School Mathematics League and bronze medalist in the Chinese Mathematical Olympiad, he now shares his passion for math by coaching students for the AMC 8, focusing on algebra, geometry, number theory, and counting through problem-solving strategies and past exam practice.
