Class Description:
This course provides a thorough, structured approach to Algebra I, focusing on functions, equations, inequalities, and graphs. Students learn how to model real-world situations with algebraic expressions and solve multi-step problems confidently. It is the core gateway course leading into Geometry, Algebra II, and higher-level math.
About the Instructor:
Mr. Fevzi has over 17 years of experience teaching mathematics, from middle school through AP Calculus as well as SAT and ACT preparation. He has coached students for competitions including AMC, MathCounts, and Math Kangaroo, helping them develop strong problem-solving skills and confidence. In addition to math, he teaches Python and Java programming and also works as a software developer. Fluent in six languages, he brings a broad, global perspective that makes learning clear, engaging, and accessible.
