Class Description:
SAT Core is a comprehensive, semester-long course that builds a strong foundation in all sections of the SAT. Students review key grammar and reading strategies, strengthen algebra and geometry concepts, and practice test-taking skills. Full-length mock exams and detailed feedback help students track progress and set realistic score goals.
About the Instructor
Mr. Friedman holds degrees in English and Philosophy from Washington and Lee University and a Master’s in Modern American Literature. After teaching at several colleges, he spent 20 years at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, where he taught AP English Language and Composition and guided students in writing and college essay preparation. In 2014, he received the Susan Scott Daly Excellence in Teaching Award and also founded the Coffeehouse Club, giving students a space to share their creativity.
