Class Description:
Geometry Honors covers Euclidean geometry with a strong emphasis on proofs and reasoning. Students study lines, angles, triangles, polygons, circles, and three-dimensional figures while learning how to write formal geometric proofs. This course is ideal for motivated students who want a rigorous foundation for AMC, SAT, and advanced math.
About the Instructor:
Mr. Fevzi has over 17 years of experience teaching mathematics, from middle school through AP Calculus as well as SAT and ACT preparation. He has coached students for competitions including AMC, MathCounts, and Math Kangaroo, helping them develop strong problem-solving skills and confidence. In addition to math, he teaches Python and Java programming and also works as a software developer. Fluent in six languages, he brings a broad, global perspective that makes learning clear, engaging, and accessible.
