Class Description:
In this project-based class, students will plan, write, and illustrate their very own book from start to finish. They learn how to build characters, structure a story, and combine text with artwork in a meaningful way. By the end of the course, each student will have a self published copy of their book to share with family and friends.
About the Instructor:
Ms. Victoria is a highly accomplished K–12 educator and academic leader with 15+ years of experience specializing in English Arts, literacy development, and elementary education. With training from Hampton University and executive-level studies through Harvard Business School Online, she brings strong expertise in reading fluency, writing instruction, and culturally responsive teaching. Victoria has served as Academic Dean, team lead, and instructional coach—supporting teachers, elevating classroom instruction, and fostering meaningful academic growth for all students.
