The Summer AP U.S. History Prep at Champion Education is a specialized program designed to move beyond rote memorization, helping students master the analytical and writing skills required for AP success and college-level humanities.
Learning Objectives
- Historical Thinking: Mastering cause and effect, continuity and change, and understanding historical context.
- Document Analysis: Learning to interpret primary sources, political cartoons, maps, and data.
- Writing Mastery: Building strong thesis statements and evidence-based reasoning for DBQ (Document-Based Questions), LEQ (Long Essay Questions), and SAQ (Short Answer Questions).
- Exam Readiness: Practice with AP-style multiple-choice questions and timed writing strategies.
Expert Instruction
The course is taught by Dr. Sartee, an elite instructor with:
- 20+ years of teaching experience.
- Distinction as an AP Reader & AP Table Leader (providing inside knowledge on how exams are graded).
