Week 1 (6/16-6/20)
The Innovator's Challenge: Engineering Edition: The camp will teach intermediate-level engineering concepts, including mechanics, energy systems, and design principles. Encourage students to think critically and solve complex problems through hands-on projects.
Journal Journeys (Write, Speak, Shine): "Journal Journeys: Write, Speak, Shine!" is designed to empower students to express themselves creatively through writing and speaking.
Week 2 (6/23-6/27)
Rock Climbing Advanture (Triangle Rock Climbing Club)
Nature Makers (3D Adventures in Art): This camp combines art and nature, encouraging students to explore the beauty of the natural world while developing 3D art skills.
Week 3 (6/30 - 7/3*4 days)
Soccer Camp: (Pinnacle Performance Soccer)
Little Medical School: The "Little Medical School" camp introduces young learners to the basics of health, anatomy, and medical care through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Week 4 (7/7 - 7/11)
Cultural Creations (3D Art Journeys Around the World): This engaging camp combines art and cultural exploration as students journey around the world through 3D art projects.
Coding Adventure (Game Development Basics): Using beginner-friendly platforms, students will learn the fundamentals of game design, coding logic, and animation. Each day, they’ll build a part of their own game, culminating in a fully functional project they can play and share.
Week 5 (7/14 -7/18)
Intro to Cartooning & Comics Creation: This summer camp is an exciting, hands-on program designed for young artists interested in storytelling through comics and cartoons. Participants will explore the fundamentals of character design, panel composition, storytelling techniques, and inking while developing their unique artistic styles.
Story Detectives (Uncover, Write, and Speak Your Stories): In this interactive camp, students become "Story Detectives," exploring the art of storytelling through creative writing, public speaking, and fun collaborative activities.
Week 6 (7/21 -7/25)
Basketball: This camp introduces young children to the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, active, and supportive environment.
Curious Chemists and Bold Biologists (A Mini Scientists Adventure): This hands-on camp combines the wonders of chemistry and biology to spark curiosity in young scientists. Students will explore exciting topics like chemical reactions, ecosystems, human anatomy, and more through fun experiments and creative activities.
Week 7 (7/28 - 8/1)
Drama & Performance Camp (full day camp): This dynamic camp introduces students to the world of drama and performance. Through acting games, improvisation, scriptwriting, and stagecraft, students will explore their creativity, build confidence, and learn teamwork.
Week 8 (8/4 - 8/8)
Triangle Badminton (Triangle Badminton Club): Badminton is an excellent cardiovascular exercise that helps improve overall physical fitness. It involves running, jumping, and quick lateral movements, contributing to the development of agility, coordination, and motor skills.
Sparkle & Shine: Creative Jewelry Makers: This camp invites students to dive into the creative world of jewelry making, combining design, color theory, and crafting skills to create unique wearable art. Students will explore a variety of techniques, including beading, wire wrapping, and layering, while learning how to use tools safely and effectively.
Week 9 (8/11 - 8/15)
Creative Crochet Camp (Stitching Fun for Young Makers): This fun and hands-on camp introduces young learners to the art of crochet. Students will explore the basics of crochet techniques, from holding a hook to making simple stitches, while creating their very own projects like coasters, bookmarks, and small pouches.
Rocket Scientists: Exploring Propulsion: The students will design, build, and launch various types of rockets while developing teamwork, problem-solving skills, and creativity. By the end of the camp, students will design and successfully launch their own custom rocket.
Week 10 (8/18 - 8/22)
Kung Fu (Chinese martial arts): The campers will improve their physical fitness through a variety of rigorous training programs. These include basic skills exercises such as kicking, manipulation and torso movement training, as well as flexibility and suppleness enhancement training.
Knot & Bead: Friendship Bracelet Studio: This creative camp introduces students to the art of making friendship bracelets and beadwork. Through hands-on activities, students will learn various knotting techniques, patterns, and designs, while exploring color theory and symmetry.
