For most university art programs and private art schools, a strong portfolio is the most critical part of the admissions process. Champion Portfolio Intensive Prep is designed for students who have a solid foundation and are ready to work with intention toward competitive artistic and academic goals.
In this immersive program, students create cohesive series of artworks that explore meaningful themes while refining technical skills. Guided by experienced instructors, students move through the complete art-making process—from concept development and sketching to experimentation, critique, and finished works.
Instructors provide clear structure, individualized guidance, and goal-setting support, helping students strengthen visual ideas, contextual thinking, and material mastery as their portfolios develop.
Students will:

• Develop strong, original visual concepts
• Refine techniques across multiple media
• Participate in thoughtful, guided critiques
• Build a competitive, well-curated portfolio

The program prepares students for the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and strengthens applications to top art and design schools, while also generating high-quality supplemental materials for university applications.
