For most university art programs and private art schools, your portfolio is crucial for admission. This class is for students who understand the fundamentals and can work towards their goals. Students will create series of works exploring different themes and improving their technique. The instructor will provide structure, guide the process from sketch to finished piece, set goals, offer context, and assist with material use as works develop.

Repeat and refine your art skills with Champion's creative crew, experiencing the full art-making process: creating, presenting, responding, and connecting. Our program aims for a promising future by focusing on refining, reflecting, and evolving. You'll plan and design communicative artworks, experiment with various media and approaches, and engage in collaborative reflection and critiques. Our 7-week Portfolio course is designed to meet individual goals, preparing artworks for the Scholastic Art & Writing Competition and enhancing your chances of acceptance to your dream school.
